Who we are
We are a small web design studio based at 6 The Fairings in Tenterden. We have been building websites for businesses in Kent and East Sussex since 2007 — nearly 20 years of watching what actually brings a local business enquiries and what just looks nice in a portfolio.
Most of our clients are within about half an hour of us: shops on Tenterden High Street, tradespeople across the Weald, salons, restaurants, professional practices. A few are further afield and one or two are national. The local ones matter most to us, because we bump into them.
How we can charge £189
It is the question we get asked most, so here is the straight answer. We use AI-assisted design and copywriting tooling as part of our build process. A bespoke site that would have taken a studio three weeks of hands-on time in 2015 takes us about four working days now.
We have chosen to pass that time saving on as a lower price rather than keep it as margin. What we have not done is remove the human. Every layout decision, every line of copy and every page gets reviewed and reworked by a person before you see it, let alone before it goes live. The tooling makes us fast. It does not make the judgement calls.
If a studio tells you a website has to cost £3,000 because it takes three weeks, they are describing their process, not your website.

Who we’re right for — and who we’re not.
A good fit if…
- You run a local business and need people who Google you to actually call.
- You want a fixed price and a date, not an hourly rate and a shrug.
- Your current site is old, slow, or embarrassing on a phone.
- You have no interest in becoming a website expert and would rather we just handled it.
- You want to own your site outright, with no platform taking a cut.
Probably not, if…
- You need a full brand identity built from nothing — that is a branding agency’s job, and we will say so.
- You want a complex custom web application rather than a website.
- You need someone on site with you regularly. Nearly all our work is done remotely.
- You are looking for guaranteed first-place Google rankings. Nobody can honestly promise that.
How we work
Four steps, and only one needs you.
We learn your business
A short call or email. What you sell, who buys it, what your competitors look like, and what you actually want the website to do. We research your trade before we draw anything.
We design and build it
A bespoke design for your brand — not a template with your logo dropped in. We write the copy if you want us to, and source the imagery.
You see it and shape it
We send a private preview link. You click round it on your own phone, tell us what to change, and we change it. As many rounds as it takes to get it right.
We put it live
Domain, hosting, SSL, email, Google — all configured by us. You do nothing except tell people about your new website.
